Glass wool has lower bulk density, less slag content, lower thermal conductivity, longer service life and higher fiber resistance. However, the highest operating temperature of rock wool is up to 600 degrees Celsius, and glass wool is only 260 degrees Celsius.
3. The use of goods is different
Glass wool is usually used for insulation below 200 degrees Celsius. It is often used for the insulation of ordinary buildings or low temperature pipes. Rock wool is usually used for insulation at temperatures of 450 degrees Celsius, and is often used for insulation of high temperature heat pipes or electrical equipment.
